After purchasing a house, the first thing my partner and I wanted to do was to get the locks changed. We went to Home Depot and Lowes only to find that replacing the same styled locks is expensive! We then proceeded to call Flushing Re-Key Services to re-key the locks. The price seemed very reasonable, especially considering that it was very last minute and late in the evening. The locksmith came off immediately as a very nice guy. Our locks were actually the more secure type which should have cost more to re-key (since it takes longer), but he just charged us as if they were just the standard locks. He also smoothed out the screw grooves after reinstalling the locks -- a nice touch to save us from cutting ourselves when turning the door knobs. And, he gave us some cost-effective tips on securing our home. We would definitely call Flushing Re-Key Services in a heartbeat the next time we need a locksmith.
