My husband has sent me to the day spa a few times through the year, for haircuts and eyebrow waxing and other various massages and pedicures/manicures. I have found though through repeat business the haircuts are no better then some of the basic "run of the mill" lower priced chains, where the styles were costing me $65+ I could find them elsewhere for under $20 including tip. The atmosphere is a very pampered one though so if you want to do something to "splurge" this may be one to consider but unless you have rather deep pocketbooks I wouldn't make this my normal salon and spa.
