Poor Service at Texas Roadhouse 10/20/2006

I had drove by this restaurant many times, and was excited when I finally go to visit it. There was not a wait, even though we visited on a weekend. We were seated promptly, and then it seemed that they just forgot that we were there. It took forever for anyone to take our order, although the restaurant was practically empty. My small daughter spilled a glass of pop on the table, and none of the employees came over to offer us help, even though they saw what had happened. We had to ask for extra napkins. Our drinks were slow to be refilled, and our dirty dishes were never cleared. The really annoying thing was that throughout our visit, we saw the employees, including our waitress sitting at a booth near us, just talking to each other. A little attention to the customers would have been nice. The food was ok, but not good enough to make up for poor customer service. more
