Highland Grill is a great place for a twist on diner food. Everything on the menu is something you might find at a local greasy spoon, but has a swanky twist. Grilled cheese comes with chutney. Egg salad is spiced with curry. Salads are topped with steak and Gorgonzola. The fries are made with sweet potatoes and served with a peanut aioli sauce (and are delicious!) Not everything works, but the prices are cheap, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. The walls are neon green and are lined with sparkly red booths. Breakfast is also good here- the buckwheat pancakes and eggs Benedict are both very good.
