As an avid coffee drinker, I often seek out Coffee Houses or Cafes to sample coffee. In going to TJ Maxx one day I discovered Port City Java. When I frequent these places I don't usually run into a large number of Black Americans. As a Christian Black American woman, I was pleased to discover that this establishment is owned and operated by two Black American women who are sisters. On Wednesday nights a christian book study is held and there is even a christian book store on the inside of the cafe. The food there is delicious as well as the coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful and this place has a down home feel. The sisters there employ all races in their establishment. Very nice people
