Now, let's discuss the beauty of the Happy Hoagie. For me, it can be summed up in 2 words: garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is the H.H.'s signature dressing and comes on all sandwiches unless you are fool enough to request otherwise. Ok, if you order egg salad i can see how you might reasonably forego garlic sauce. But that's the ONLY TIME!
Okay, so back to the subs. They are big and delicious and stacked with good ingredients and you can get them, wait for it.....TOASTED. The only thing that could make the place perfect would be if the sandwiches were cheap. But wait! They are!! A regular Roast beef and cheese, for example, is $3.85!
You will not regret a trip to the Happy Hoagie especially on a nice day when you can walk a block at eat your sub al fresco at the little Brisbane park. Ahhh. Lovely.
