In 40 years of having companion animals, and have boarded many, I have never returned to pick up my companion animal and they were near death. Recently moving to S.A., I checked out many vet hospitals with boarding facilities. Town and Country checked out very well. After leaving my 9 1/2 year old Golden, in good health, I returned to find him near death. The vet on duty, Dr. Forbes would not examine him or treat him, just told me they would be closing and I could not leave him there. Emergency Vet. and then to South Texas Veterinary Specialist for 4 days and much money later, he was released, but has not fully regained the health he had. Don't trust the care of your companion animal to these people.
