If there's one thing that the Glover Park area needs more than anything else it's a bookstore. There are restaurants and grocery stores, but not many retail stores on the strip. Glover Books is a nice neighborhood store that carries a small but select range of books. I usually do not go there if I am looking for something specific. There is not the wide selection of books like a Borders. But that's okay, it's not meant to. It's a nice place to browse and find a book that might interest you. The salespeople are friendly also.
