My family and I have been dining at Hoku's for many years. We went to dinner there about a month ago. Prior to that, we went about a year before. This is an expensive restaurant that we go to for special occasions. Although the prices have remained in line, their portions have gotten significantly smaller. We used to be able to take home doggie bags, but not on this last occassion. The food is of the same excellent quality, but the value is less. That’s why I’m giving them 4 stars rather than 5 stars. Be prepared to order appetizers and salads to get full.
