El Rancherito is my favorite restaurant in Macomb! Since the wait staff are natives of Mexico, the food and atmosphere are very authentic. I love the chips and salsa, which are served with every meal. The food is delicious and filling. Their nice selection of beers, margaritas, and daiquiris, as well as sodas and juices for non-alcoholic drinks, are enough to keep you hydrated. While communicating with the staff is sometimes difficult, they are great about getting what you want or need. The prices are very reasonable, making this a great spot for a group outing or a romantic dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants some good Mexican food in rural Illinois!
