Everybody loves the zoo! The Houston Zoo has always been a great destination in Houston but in recent years the zoo has really transformed. The zoo was once the responsibility of the City of Houston but has been privatized and is a model for the potential success of a reborn, urban animal habitat. Our zoo is moving toward an inspired vision for the future. The Houston Zoo is a gem in our city.
