the pacific east mall is a big Asian mall, with a large grocery store that focuses on Asian food (ranch 99), several good restaurants of various Asian cuisine (Vietnamese, Chinese (Cantonese style and Taiwanese style), Thai, etch), gift shops, and other service shops like real estate and eyeglass shops. it's pretty neat because it's different from what you would think of as your typical mall.
