Staff has limited knowledge of products sold 8/20/2005

My husband and I visited the Kelley's Wireless at the Mall to buy cellphones. The girl behind the counter was pleasant enough and knew alot about the phones she was selling....but didn't know everything. Specifically, she didn't know that there was a $39.99 connection fee for each phone. Even when we asked her outright if there would be any connection fees, she said 'No" The next month, we get our bill from T-Mobile and there's $80 in connection fees associated with our bill. We went back to the kiosk in the mall and the guy behind the counter was rude beyond anything I've ever had to deal with AND proclaimed that it was just his first day on the job, didn't know anything so come back another time. He seemed more interested talking on the phone with his friends than assisting customers. If you want to buy a cellular phone, do it directly through the company. When you deal with kiosks like this, you are dealing with people who are selling 5 different brands of phones and who do not know about the products or plans they're selling. Save yourself the headache and hassle. more
