El Rancho is the best Mexican restaurant in Cedar Rapids! The family that owns the restaurant is very friendly and since we are regulars there they treat us as family. We have always received excellent service and the food is very authentic and tastes wonderful. The prices are cheap too considering restaurant prices. My family consists of the four of us and our bill is usually about $20 and that includes leftovers to take home. I love their salsa. It's spicy but it's the best in town. You have to give El Rancho a try!
