Wadsworth State Park is one of the busier state parks that we’ve been too. They have a nice network of hiking trails, one of which leads to Wadsworth Falls. The falls is accessible via the roadway as well which would allow you to avoid all of the hiking. For families this may be a better option, it’s a long hike and not very interesting once you get started. The state park also has a small swimming hole and changing rooms, picnic tables and barbecue pits. While it might be a nice place for a picnic, the swimming hole is crowded and the water didn’t appear very sanitary while we were there.
