This truly is a case of "you get what you pay for". My experiences with the Niles Inn have been somewhat negative. Although the staff is usually courteous, the rooms are often not kept up and even somewhat dirty. Everything looks somewhat dingy and run-down. They do have cheaper rooms, but you can tell in the quality. Meeting/banquet rooms are plain and made me feel closed in with lots of people in there. Overall, I would have to recommend that you stay elsewhere.
