The Fire Museum of Maryland was first opened in 1971. It depicts the history of firefighting in the United States. At the museum there are exhibits about firefighting equipment and you can see how the equipment has changed and evolved throughout the years. Visitors can even sit in the drivers seat of a firetruck from the late 1930s. Very interesting and fun for the whole family.
