There's a bit of a biker -- and not the Breaking Away kind -- feel to this place. It radiates a weird vibe -- maybe it's the placard in the window which reads: "Free A Ride in A Police Car If You Shoplift From This Store!". Not so welcoming and a little overprotective. That's how the whole place feels, in a sense.
That aside, there is an interesting selection of bicycles here, and the staff is quite knowledgeable. I would certainly arm myself with a good bit of internet research first so as to double check prices. Paying a bit more, of course, is worth it for the neighborhood feel and the knowledgeable service.
