Just over the city line from Providence into Pawtucket, Barney’s is a very good kosher style bakery. It has delicious challah and bagels and other baked goods plus the usual selection of spreads and fillings for sandwiches. On Fridays the challah tends to go pretty quickly, but Barney’s makes enough so that even in the late afternoon there are usually a few left. Their challah can also be bought at Eastside Marketplace.
