The price is right, FREE!! Since they no longer give free tours of the real chocolate plant. This mini tour building, right near Hersheypark, of how chocolate is made was built and recently updated. There is a guided ride that takes you through the Hershey process of making chocolate and gives you some history Hershey Chocolate.
At the end of the tour they often give you a sample of a chocolate bar, just like the old days. There are of course gift shoppes at the end of the tour and food courts. Really no way to avoid this stuff you must walk through to get out. There is also a new paid movie about Hershey that is also offered. I do not know anything about it. I have not attended it.
The best thing there are the LARGE cookies fresh from the oven!! The cakes are very good too. Or a milkshake. Nice tropic garden setting.
