I contacted Catholic Charities for help with a legal issue. They put me in touch with a lawyer who was kind, caring and very helpful. This lawyer organized everything that was needed for my issue and helped me at every step of the process, all the while making it enjoyable to meet with him. Though it is a charity, it is not a handout. I did have to pay for the lawyer, I just didn't need the money up front because he worked with the charity. I was allowed to pay it off over time.
