At the end of the first year, my lawn didn't look much better, but on the other hand I hadn't watered nearly as much as they recommended.
This year, I followed their watering recommendations and had my mowing service raise the mow height as they recommended, and my lawn looks much better.
To be honest, even if the lawn didn't look that much better I might have kept them - the number of giant cockroach invasions dropped precipitously. I used to get 4 or so giant cockroaches in the house every year, now it's down to perhaps one. Coincidence? Perhaps, perhaps not, but I'd have to pay a heavy price to find out..."
