Either hiking on a trail or strolling by the beautiful flowers , these gardens are a wonderful opportunity to experience nature in new york city. I've been there several times and find something new or breathtaking each time. It's easily accessible by subway and admission is fairly priced (they have student rates). Highly recommend visiting.
