Vaughns Orchard is open year round, but it is most famous and a lot busier during the late summer and fall season. Vaughns is an apple orchard, among other things, but you can go on a short hay ride, and pick your very own apples. It is fun to do if you have small children, but I prefer to get the apples in their country store. It is out in Weston, Missouri, but it is worth the trip.
