We've lived many places and this is one of our favorite zoos. It's not huge, but a nice size. One thing that stands out is that it is always landscaped so beautifully and clean. The animals are well taken care of and in friendly environments. They have a beautiful botannical garden and you can ride the tram from the gardens to the zoo. You see both for one admission. However, a yearly pass is very reasonalbe for a family and with our family (2 adults, 1 child) just two trips "pays" for the pass. They have homeschool programs during the school year, too.
