Inside the museum you will find information from pre-historic life and plenty of other interesting things. There is a pretty good display about the Civil War in the museum. The Augusta Richmond County Museum building is a relatiively new building. It is very beautiful inside and has a nice gift shop. It can be rented out for private parties and weddings. It's a beautiful place. Located right beside the Savannah River, Augusta River Walk.
