As a child, I dreaded going to the eye doctor. Something about those eye drops that make you blind for a few hours always freaked me out. A few years ago, I heard by word of mouth that Roberts Eyecare was excellent. Although my insurance does not cover eyecare, I made an appointment. I actually got the extra full-eye picture, just in case. this place does not use the blinding eye drops. I was fitted for contacts AND got a new pair of frames with my new prescription, for a decent price. They have a pretty good selection of frames, and the salesmen are very good at helping you pick frames that are good for your face.
