My girlfriend has been taking self defense lessons at the academy for about 4 months. She has gained a tremendous amount of sefl confidence and self esteem. When we moved here from a small town she was concerned about crime and the possibility of being taken advantage of, but now she will go out at night and she is worry free...now I'm the one that's worried that she will beat me up. She says the staff is very attentive, and give her a lot of positive reinforcement.
