not real bubble tea, but yummy nonetheless 8/12/2005

So it's not the kind of bubble tea you'd get in Asia, but they get the general idea. (the bubbles, btw, are starchy balls that are put into drinks) i think the attraction of this place is the friendly environment (everything looks cheerful and kinda...bubbly) and the different but familiar drinks they serve. for instance, they have smoothies with bubbles. it sounds strange, but it works. my favorites: strawberry calpico with black bubbles, raspberry smoothie, and tiki tea (coffee and milk tea) with black bubbles. oh, and try the popcorn chicken. the portions are big, and price is very decent. you can also check out board games for free and play them with your friends while you're in the shop. more
