The Smithfield Public Library has a huge selection of books and the ability to borrow books from other libraries in Johnston County. The librarians are friendly and helpful. The children's section of the library is fantastic. They offer weekly children's programs. The hours are varried, making the library accessable to just about everyone. I've yet to want a book that this library doesn't have or can't get. They also have a selection of DVD and VHS movies for rent very reasonably.
