Cowarts is a fairly good meat market. They are a good butcher. You can get quality meats cut to your specifications. They stock some grocery items. The prices tend to be high, of course. If you are in San Mateo, they are the closest thing to a supermarket, other than a convenience store. You pay a price to avoid driving into East Palatka to their grocery store. I can't complain about the meat or produce. They have always been good quality. Use them for their butcher services. Otherwise, drive the distance to the grocery store.
