Hampton Coliseum is probably one of the best places in Hampton Roads to see live musical acts - in fact, this is where a great deal of the larger acts perform. The coliseum is large and spacious, and seats are fairly comfortable. Food and drinks are expensive inside, of course, but I've yet to find a concert venue that doesn't overcharge. Security is wonderful, and will deal with any problem patrons quickly and efficiently. Staff is fairly friendly and the building is usually well maintained. Parking can be a bit tough when there's a popular act performing, but it's not nearly as bad as I've seen at other places. Overall, the Hampton Coliseum is a great place to catch your favorite musical performers - highly recommended!
