Hotel Durant is a hotel near the UC Berkeley campus that student's parents can stay when they come to visit. It is another choice as well as Bancroft Hotel. Hotel Durant is right next to one of the dorm buildings and a very nice sports-centered restaurant. The hotel building is really nice and the area is convenient with lots of eating places.
