The Franklin Institute is a staple in Philadelphia. Everyone who lives in or around Philly or visits deserves to go here no matter what their interest level in science is. Kids will enjoy the many interactive exhbitis such as the famous giant human heart you can walk through. Adults can observe a full-size locomotive train or watch a show in the IMAX theater. Words really cannot do justice to the plethora of exhibits in this museum established from the money of Ben Franklin himself. Admission is reasonable at under $20 for adults. There are special exhibits (one was the history of video games) that are brought in from time to time. Parking can be difficult to find at a reasonable rate, but not impossible. There are places to eat inside the museum. It's a very bright, impressive building. Definitely worth a trip.
