I am not a coffee drinker whatsoever, but this is one of my favorite spots to hangout in Austin. It is best to steer clear of the place around finals or midterms due to the students. But it is so beautiful at night there. The building inside and out is so eclectic and fun to be with. I have enjoyed sharing it with lots of friends and having some great conversations there over dessert and various drinks. One of the best times to go is when it actually cools off outside; you can really enjoy the ambience that the lights provide. a semi-romantic date would be really fun to end the night here. It is also a place to study if you like being around people to study.
