I stayed here several times with my family and relatives from out of town. The rooms were very simple but clean. There are no in house restaurants but you can easily drive to Kamuela town for places to eat like the Paker Ranch Food Court, McDonald's, or the other drive ins at the Kamuela Shopping Center. It can get quite cold at night so bring warm clothes when you stay at the Kamuela Inn. You can't beat the prices here especially when the resorts down the coast charge a lot more.
