If you would like to spend the night on a date where you will be able to have a common experience that you will b able to talk about later, the Devos Performance Hall is a perfect place to start. The Grand Rapids Symphony does a good job, and has interesting performances. If you are a student then you can apply for the Student Passport that will allow you to buy $5 tickets at the door the night of the performance - a great deal for money-conscience college students.
