On one of the most beautiful parts of the north shore sits a diner restaurant that will forever change your idea of the typical "diner." The Heritage has one of the best menus i have seen east of Queens. Some of the items that stand out in my mind that i eat all the time are their own biscuit syrup bacon egg and cheese sandwich. this seems like a modification of the Mcgriddle, but a whole lot fresher and the biscuit is actually dipped in syrup. Another item i get the avocado salmon on ciabatta bread sandwich. For dinner i always have the NY Strip steak. I'm telling you for the price they have their steaks and the choice cut quality they offer i don't know how they make a profit on this item.
The service is almost always excellent but if you go when it is busy you obviously won't get the same attention as you get when it is not busy.
overall it is a great place.
