The room and condition of the hotel overall was between good and excellent. Good accommodations for the price. Customer service was lacking. I had forgotten my toothbrush and also a comb. Both times I was told I would have to come down to the desk to pick up these items. Oddly, the excuse was that front desk did not have any help and could not leave to bring the items to my room. But whenever I would pass the front desk, he was nowhere in sight. (??) In addition, my car would not start at check-out. It was a Sunday AND New Year's Day. The hotel did not provide a list of recommendations. I was from out of town and this is not acceptable customer service. Although after requesting the front desk search online for a 24-hour car service business, which he did without hesitation, good customer service would have offered as soon as the problem presented itself. Going the extra mile is what customer service is all about. more
