had small area of pet damage, carpet shredded at door threshold was 2" by 8", I had no remnants and the room is way too small to stretch. Technician cut a patch out of a closet, you can't even see the difference in the pattern of the loop carpet where he repaired it. The closet was fixed with a non-matching remnant at my approval, it can be seen, but its in a back corner of a closet. the repair was one-fifth the cost of recarpeting the whole room. I would definitely do this again to avoid recarpeting!!
