I made an appointment to have a particular service request fulfilled (Android Auto upgrade for my Sonata). I wasn't informed until after I was "checked in" that they could not do this at the time of my appointment, and was pushed to get an oil change despite being at only about 2000 miles on the car. It was not entirely unreasonable to do an oil change at 6 months, and it only took about two hours, but I would have felt better served if they had either (1) rescheduled the appointment to a time when they knew they would be able to do what I actually requested, or at least (2) told me upon arrival and offered me the option to reschedule. Getting a $40 oil change in probably isn't worth the impact on my satisfaction as a customer. It's been almost a month now, and I haven't heard back regarding the Android Auto upgrade. May have to see if any of the other Hyundai dealers in the area have it yet. My experience with the dealership during my purchase process last December was very good. This service experience tarnishes that. more
