Wow...although it was a cold and foggy morning, our experience was fantastic! The people who managed the place was cordial and professional. You cannot beat their competitive prices. What stable offers 1 1/2 hours ride time for $35.00? None other than Mar Vista Stables. What a wonderful promotion. You need to call ahead to reserve for the 1 1/2 hour ride, and ask if they still have their special. Regarding the horses, they appeared well kept, very tamed and sweet. I loved my horse, Ginger. She was compliant and was so pretty. The ride transverses along the mountainside down to the beach (a CLEAN, cold beach) and then we ride for another ten-15 min and then turn around to get back to the stables. When our ride was finished, I asked the guide if I could take a picture with Ginger. She was very kind and conversed with me, even though everyone had already dismounted their horses! I will most definitely return to this establishment.
