Luke Sturm was methodical in his approach with constant focus on the ultimate goal of determining why the circuit tripped when there was no connected load faults. He discovered a rusted outdoor receptacle that had "grown rust" over time that met the screw fittings on the receptacle that shorted out and "welded" the connection to the steel single-gang box making a permanent short circuit. Go figure!
He also demonstrated a solid working knowledge of the N.E.C. which led us to replacing the receptacle and its weather-tight cover with a GFI receptacle and approved cover.
The experience was all good to say the very least!
