My 2008 Suburban with the 5.3L V-8 had the dreaded excessive oil consumption / loud lifter noise issue. At 84,000+ miles the vehicle was out of warranty and based on my research the fix was going to be very expense ($5,000+). The service advisor, George L., dug into the root cause of the issue with the technicians and correctly diagnosed the core issue. He immediately worked with GM to cover the problem under an ?extended warranty? with an acceptable out of pocked deductible. By the end of the week, my engine was completely rebuilt (pistons, rings, camshaft, lifters, etc.) and my Suburban was running like new again. Thanks to Williams, the technicians and George L. for the excellent engine work, great negotiation with GM and overall professional service. Because of the service department, I will continue to buy my vehicles at Williams.
