i have to say, century link is the shitty-est company i have ever dealt with in my life. when we first bought the house and moved in, they came door to door trying to sell us century link. so we sign up. only to be told they don't have the right cables out here yet and they are sorry. OK. strike one. don't come to my door and try to sell me a service you can't provide. so now, 3 years later...again they come knocking on our door. promising faster internet and cheaper TV and say the cables have been done and can be at our home in a week to install. OK. we sign up. the day comes, no one shows up, or even calls for that matter. STRIKE TWO. so we call and find out whats going on....they apologize and give excuses and say the lines aren't done yet and make yet ANOTHER appointment to set everything up. that day comes and goes and yet again NO ONE SHOWED UP. no call, no show. STRIKE THREE! (mind you, we should have been done with them a long time ago, but cox is pretty much the only provider in our neighborhood and century link was promising cheaper) so we call them YET AGAIN. mind you, our neighbors who we referred, already have theirs hooked up and working at this time. they set up a last appointment promising to keep it and be on time etc etc. we just get a call, the day before the appointment, and they finally call....SAYING THEY CAN'T GIVE US SERVICE! saying there is a bad wire going only to our house and can't provide us the service. yet, ALL of our neighbors have it now. WTF. worst company ever.
