I decided to take the CPR/ Basic First Aid class after my father suffered a massive heart attack and was hospitalized for three months. He's home now for a couple of months until he returns to the hospital for surgery to remove a tumor. He is very weak and fragile right now. Both of my parents are now. As I have become their caretakers, I felt the need to take this class as a 'just in case' precaution. The instructor was very good. He was knowledgable and thorough and made sure everyone in the class had a chance to practice and get everything right. When I first saw that the class was five hours long I was kinda dreading it but, the instructor made the time fly by with humor and interesting facts and stories. There were snacks and beverages and the pace was just right. The location is easy to get to, if not a little odd. At the end of class I got my card and felt like I really learned something. I will be coming here again to renew my card in a couple of years. If you or someone you know needs to get this kind of of training, I recommend coming here. They are accredited with the AHA so you know you're getting the latest training and it was kinda fun too.
