In the last few years my home (built in 1966) has finally shown quite a few problems with plumbing and heating. I have had a new high efficiency furnace installed, new water heater, frozen/burst water pipes in my garage replaced with a much better system (and was given extensive instructions on how to completely empty that water line in the fall), a wet bar whose corroded fittings below had sprung a major leak was made like new with a modern faucet and all piping and valves, drains in two bathrooms were cleaned and repaired (they look and work like new), badly clogged major pipe line out to the septic tank was snaked almost to the end of the snake - it's running well now (was told to never put any grease down the drain and not to use the disposer because I have a septic tank, but run the disposer now and then to keep it freed up). Arnie is a consummate professional plumber and is extremely courteous and informative. He has done my whole house inspection for the last two years and always explains in detail everything he thinks needs attention most urgently, using easy to understand language. Arnie is installing a new kitchen sink faucet and all new piping and valves underneath as I write this. I know he will leave my house perfectly clean and I will be very pleased. Scott also did a great plumbing job in my house and gave me instructions to prevent future problems. (I made a check list and am going to laminate it to hang on the pipe). I am a "Diamond Club" member and will always call Austin Plumbing/Polar Express when I have an urgent need and when I want to update old equipment. I know that Austin is a bit more expensive than other Plumbing companies, but I am very willing to pay for exceptional, quality work.
