Early last summer I was diagnosed with degenerative back disease and pinched spinal nerves. I experienced intense pain and had difficulty walking. A neurosurgeon prescribed lumbar steroid injections. I received the maximum number that could be administered and things were better, but after awhile my leg began to tingle, burn and weaken.\r
My neurosurgeon had requested that I return for a visit post injections. I did and physical therapy was recommended. I was referred by my doctor to C.H. Physical Therapy.\r
During the first session I was throughly evaluated and during the following sessions I began a program of exercises and stretches to strengthen my core and leg muscles and to increase my flexibility. During the sessions I really worked hard which I didn't mind as I was there to get better. I was also directed to do specific exercises and stretches at home and/or the gym. \r
Now, post therapy, I have less leg problems and am noticeably stronger and more flexible.\r
Even before my first therapy session I had confidence in C.H. Physical Therapy since my neurosurgeon had referred me to them. The therapist I worked with is highly trained, with a doctorate in physical therapy. She was very professional in manner and communicated well. She answered all my many questions.\r
I hope that I never again need P.T., but if I do I would gladly return to C.H. Physical Therapy. I would gladly recommend C.H. Physical Therapy to any family member or friend in need of services that they could provide.
