First of all it is a law that ALL pets must be vaccinated for rabies in the state of Ohio. If a clinic does not accept your pet for this reason it is because they can be sued if the animal bites either the staff, any of the other customers, or another pet. If you think because your animal has always been indoors for its' entire and won't get sick you should not own pets. For example if have a rat or bat are in your home that has rabies it WILL attack your pet and make them infected with rabies. Also Feline Leukemia is airborne. Meaning if you leave your windows open and a breeze or air flow is created than your cat is susceptible to it. Many diseases are at vets office because they always have sick animals in there. If your pet is NOT vaccinated they are more likely to become sick from your negligence as an owner rather than it being the vets fault.
