From a construction perspective the job Montell did a fine job. They started and completed the roofing job on time and finished when they said they would. Clean up was very thorough. The problem was with the sales approach. Scott was very knowledgeable and professional. When he presented the estimate I asked if it included the 60% off labor that had been advertised on the radio plus the 500.00 off if you mentioned the radio add. He included that and then told us we had to sign right then as he could not hold the price after he left and would have to get it approved by the head office. This was strange in that it was a published discount good for that month. He explained that if we did not sign a contract right then he would have to come back and that would cost money. We signed it anyway and paid the half down required but it left a sour taste. They did a fine job on the construction part but if asked to recommend them I will be adding the pressure sales pitch warning.
